If you watch the movie and understand the manga it was obvious.

The juubi absorbs unlimited amount of natural energy thats why nobody can sense it until it haves a host. After obito absorbed the juubi he took in whatever power it absorbed, if the juubi was never in a host it Would just keep absorbing natrual energy until the end of time.

Now that was in the manga when kurama said juubi power can't be measured.

It was confirmed in last movie juubi power is infinity, the also means kaguya translation of having more chakra was a mistake it most likely suposed to be more chakra then the juubi in madara.

It like the time minato said he sense six paths power more then it was with obito.

It also means juubi basically nigh omnipotent since omnipotent is unlimited power and can do anything.

When something is infinite it can't be quantified. If the juubi can absorb an infinite amount of power than it means it has an infinite amount of power already, meaning it has no need to absorb any more power. Nothing can be more than infinite.

Your example of the tap water doesn't work here because even the tap water is quantifiable while infinity isn't.

Continuous? Everyone regains chakra. Just a far smaller amount. Smaller rate of recharging just means it'd take longer?

Then they don't have infinite power then. Think of it like this, a bucket has a maximum amount of water that can be poured into it. If the water is used up it can be refilled, this does not mean the bucket has an infinite amount of water does it?

The same can be said for the juubi and the bijuu they can refill their chakra if it runs out, it doesn't mean they have infinite chakra.

Both the water in the bucket and the chakra the juubi and the bijuu have is quantifiable, an infinite source is not.

As anything whose quantity can be conceived is quantifiable

The juubi doesn't have infinite power given by its need to continuously absorb more power to strengthen itself. Nothing can be greater than infinity, once you have reached it there is nothing further, nothing beyond it.

Infinite = Continuous, Limitless, and Endless
The ten-tails continuously absorbs chakra and unlike the tailed beasts, it seemingly does not have a maximum capacity, therefore, it defines infinite.

Kaguya had more power than Juubi meaning she had more than infinite.

The Juubi was stated to be nature itself and thst the Juubi jins were using the power of the universe. People question whether the universe is endless or infinite the same thing can be applied to the Juubi.
