Naruto was manhandling those 4 or 5 Limbo Clones by himself using Taijutsu.

Sasuke was using his Flying Susanoo to destroy the meteors like they were pebbles.

Dual Rinnegan JJ Madara was a piece of cake to these guys, RSM Naruto and RG Sasuke.

They weren't having trouble with Madara. They countered every move he made, they landed several clean hits on him, even Infinite Tsukiyomi was useless, since A) Sasuke countered it, and B) They could release it after kicking his ass without any trouble. Naruto handled the Limbo's with Shadow Clones, they destroyed the Meteors before they could do anything. Face it: Madara couldn't hurt touch them.

It's clear that one eyed Madara lost to them. But when he got serious and was going to actually battle them instead of searching for his other eye and activating IT, Zetsu intervened. He never actually fought the duo after his second eye. So we've never seen 2 eyed or even 3 eyed Madara go all out in a fight.

The only way that the duo could defeat Madara is if they can seal him, but he's shown that he's able to limbo out of there. He stopped using his signature move susanoo, no six paths tech, and he might even have another ability in his third eye. I'm still saying that Madara could defeat them, which explains why Kaguya had to step in (cause she could be defeated).

Madara didn't use Mokuton which is super effective against Jinchuuriki like Naruto, didn't use the Juubi sword can't remember name, didn't use Susano, didn't use Rinnengan moves.


Madara didn't even fight when he got his 3 eyes.

The closest thing we've seen of a fight between 2 eyed Madz and the duo was the Chibaku Tensei + Limbos, and they handled all of these attacks with ease.
