In essence, the changes Hagoromo mentioned taking place within individual's who gain or are seeking to gain omnipotence are easily seen. Madara has not only had negative alteration's mentally, that is, the instability and lapses in his rational and behavior currently but there are also anatomical changes. Hagoromo notes that Kaguya suffered identical effect's which brings about the plausibility----sides her absence to face the Jūbi along side her sons. The sin of Kaguya was usurping the fruit and the end result of that or in context 'the consequence she paid' was a rampaging Jūbi.

He doesn't need the juubi like Madara and obito because he can perform the nature transformations and mix them himself
