I guess this is how things went between SO6P and Juubi when so6p became very old.
Juubi : You came to be known as The Sage, you have ridden yourself of hate and you have become something much greater than human. But the human ego is very deep. The very step you took to rid this world of hate by teaching humans ninjutsu will become the first step to this world engulfed in hate.
SO6P : It's true that I failed to accomplish my dream and now I am too old. But I believe that someday a human capable of realizing my dream and who can give an answer to you will certainly appear in this world. So you will have to wait till then.
Juubi : You think I will wait that long after I am freed from you.
SO6P : I know.
Juubi : Then what will you do?
SO6P : I will make you wait.
SO6P forms a seal and extract Juubi ouside of his body.
SO6P : I will seperate your body and your chakra and throw your body into space where you shall wait until you are revived again.
SO6P forms some new seals and seperates the body and chakra of Juubi.
Juubi : Damn you! Huuumannn!!!
SO6P : Chibaku Tensei!!
He passes the black sphere into the motionless Juubi's body
SO6P : Shinra Tensei!!
Juubi's body is thrown into space by the jutsu and all the dust and rocks in space starts accumulating around it's body like how a black hole absorbs everything around it. Finally, moon is formed.
SO6P now looks at the mass of malice full chakra and Juubi(moon).
SO6P : Children! Please forgive me that I gave birth to you along with this mass of hate.
SO6P performs a jutsu and divides the chakra into 9 parts.
He then uses his ying yang knowledge and creates nine bodies with individual personalities and combine them with the nine parts of chakra.
SO6P : I won't be here much longer. Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Goku, Kokuou, Saiken, Choumei, Gyuuki, Kurama...You will always be together..even if you are seperatred. And one day you will all become one...With different names and different forms than you exist mow. And unlike when you were within me, you will be lead down the right path. Whwn the time comes.... for you to know what true power is.....
