Jutsu Yelling. Why?

Is it mandatory for a ninja in Naruto to yell the jutsu they're going to use? If it's not, then doesn't that just give away your attack? And it's not not Naruto. The same goes for One Piece and Bleach (not as much). For example, Luffy always yells Gum Gum Gatling Gun when he uses it. An enemy would kne what coming. So my question is: why do they always yell what they're going to do, in Naruto, One Piece, and somewhat Bleach?

Haha ive always wondered that also. Its probably just used to let us know what the jutsu is that the character is doing is what im guessing.

It's like an activation thing, lol. Like look, I finally activated Rasengan, so I go "Rasengan!".
But I bet this is mostly for dramatic effect and it's a thing used in manga/animes.

for bleach when ichigo was fighting byakuya (first time using bankai) ichigo stated something like a move becomes more powerful when you say its name so for bleach i understand and it also creates a dramatic affect...but this is also to show the viewers what move they are using otherwise everyone that watches/reads anime or manga would be like what was the jutsu/move/devil fruit ability

It would be a little dull if they didn't I guess. What I wonder is why the villian doesnt dodge each time.
