Naruto wont be the Child of the Prophesy if he was just a common person with ordinary thought process ..... if he was he would have been a just another chapter in the cycle of hatred and the series would have been about the another boy who had the necessary qualities to change the world.

Exactly this, the fact that Naruto hasn't gone psycho is what separates him from everyone else, its why he is worthy to be the savior of the world.

You don't understand Naruto's character. Naruto's hatred was different than people like Obito's. Naruto being a Jinchuriki was shunned from the villagers and constantly called a monster. Jinchuriki's hearts are filled with loneliness. They don't know what actual caring feelings are. They need someone to fill that whole in their heart. That's why Gaara became evil after Yashimaru died. Gaara thought someone finally cared about him but found out that the only reason Yashimaru was being so nice to him was to kill him. While the villagers still treated Naruto like crap he had someone to fill the whole in his heart which was Iruka, and then later Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi.

Oh my, how old are you? A villain isn't made cool by having cool moves, a good villain needs a colourful personality and truly evil intentions, make them twisted and you have a potentially great villain. Menma was bland as is Obito now. When Obito was using his aliases, he was making for a great villain, alongside Orochimaru and Madara.

Seriously though, I thought characters were cool because of their powers when I was 11. :|

It's because Naruto is the perfect foil to Sasuke. Both had terrible childhoods and were wronged by their villages. However, one always looked to the future and walked down the path of good, while the other was until recently always locked in the past and slowly headed down the path of hatred. Because Sasuke choose the path of hate, Naruto can't. They wouldn't be foils anymore.
