Well. PNJ is a problem it throws logic off but XD that just look how Sasuke and Gaara did when they were hated/ used & betrayed, they returned the fires agaist them, then what's up with Naruto?

Narutos character done to his very bone is a good guy, he could hate people but he grew up with Hizuren treating him as he did the rest of the village for the most part.

I think Hizurens influence on Naruto as a hokage was what made him be good in the long run.

I think there is a plot, he should have said that naruto was his nephew or something..

Great thread. When naruto found out he was the jinchuriki he told himself that he was a demon, he even heard iruka saying it, but then iruka made his emptional speech wich turned naruto into a good guy again. When neji died naruto was going to turn evil but then hinata suddenly slapped him and showed the side of her Naruto never had seen and said Naruto werent alone and stuff like that.

But beside all that, the reason naruto didnt turn evil at all (what i think) is basicly because his parents loved him so much and died for him, Naruto might not remember it since he was a child when they died, but their sacrifice is keeping narutos hate at bay xD

Well, I think it was filler but it showed us Hizuren visiting Naruto and giving him money to live on and telling him in a parent like way not to just eat ramen.

I really do think Hizurens treating him w/o contempt helped shape him.

Also, Naruto fell head over heals for Sakura which probably kept the darkness at bay. There was also the fact that he felt a connection to Sasuke since they both felt lonliness.
