Just what is Boruto anime????

Okay the manga talks about Boruto and Momoshiki giving him powers and Kawaki is the villain.

What about the anime? They already confirmed it's not animating the manga they're starting it with an original story .

Im curious about the plot and the story of the anime will there be villains? Is it just for fun? Is there anything serious? Is Kawaki in it? Kishi did say he's gonna make it better than Naruto so there should be a serious and dark plot thats why we loved Naruto

Well you see, if you really take a step back and look at the Naruto anime from an analytical standpoint it's actually very clear exactly what the Boruto anime will be for the first year or two until the manga is either concluded or otherwise has enough material.

The anime going to be following the movie's ending and has probably been in production long before the reveal on the manga yesterday. I suspect more missions like Part 1, hijinks with Konohamaru sensei, and appearances with Oro.
