I know, right? All in all they are both equal. Period.
But if people blindly obsess over something (Naruto, Sasuke or anything else) don't argue with them. I find it amusing. Why get worked up over it especially when their word means nothing at all on the subject? This is a fictional universe with fictional characters & everything rests on the hands of Kishi. The only thing we can say that has any strong ties to it is facts. In ANY case if someone's wrong, point it out don't argue. If they don't listen then they're wrong & enjoy it; but that's THEIR mistake and we should never do the same.

OT: tbh I don't know about footspeed. I haven't really seen many good displays of Naruto's foodspeed except against Ay. I do know that Naruto has a superior Shunshin though and reflexes

Yeah, it's fine. No need for that. We know very well that Naruto is faster than Sasuke in footspeed.

In reality, footspeed is actually "speed". S/T is not technically "speed". It is only instantaneous shifting of positions, so it can serve the function of speed, but it is still not speed.

So yes, Naruto is technically faster than Sasuke because footspeed only is actually speed. But Sasuke is overall faster because although he's slower in movements (speed), he goes much faster from one point to another because of S/T.

What can we do if Kishi himself gave Sasuke all that? It's not out fault if Sasuke has everything Naruto has.

Naruto is faster with footspeed. His Senjutsu and Kyuubi enhanced footspeed might be equal to or slightly faster than Sasuke's footspeed but his Shunshin is superior and reflexes are quicker making him overall faster in footspeed.

Speed has always been Sasuke's thing since day one. It was meant to be Sasuke's thing. But since Kishi gave Sasuke the unbeatable S/T, he gave Naruto immense footspeed to compensate for that. In other words, he still made Sasuke overall faster by S/T but gave Naruto footspeed to fill up the gap.
