Just to Clarify

The Rasengan is not a Wind Jutsu. The Rasengan is a condensed ball of chakra. However, one can add an element to this jutsu, making it a Wind Jutsu, Fire jutsu, Water jutsu, etc. The best example of this is Naruto. The Rasengan, on its own DOES NOT have an affinity. RasenShuriken, on the other hand, does have an affinity, because Naruto added his Wind affinity to it.

Yeah, kinda sad. There was a thread earlier talking about how Minato has a Wind affinity because the Rasengan requires Wind. So much fail.
