Just started Fairy Tail... seems really similar..

Im on chapter 140ish, and it seems so familiar to Naruto in characters and relationships its just silly, is it just me or is this something people realized?



Magic Power = Chakra

Dragon Slayer = Jinchuuriki

Natsu= Naruto (Never gives up due to determination, deep power sleeps in him, protagonist, although Natsu way more of a pimp)

Astral Summoning (Shit with the keys lucy does) = Kuchiyose

Theres more, but I am tired and don't feel like going through it again to find them all

The only stupid thing I find about Fairy Tail is just when theyre out of magical power, the main character/s give a small monologue about the Fairy Tail guild or their friends and they instantly rape their opponent with "Nakama Power".

Nah, they use it the same, just Kishi provides explanation and drags it on in numerous chapters as to why soemthing happened, Fairy tail, its like "Accept it *****, this happened, I ain't explaining shit, oh I just finished a big battle? Better do a chapter with Lucy in a kitty cat suit, sounds logical"

Literally the only Manga I've read with Filler manga... usually that is in the Anime, not Manga

Indeed, basically they are the same, but every manga/anime has their own unique.
but what I find in Fairy Tail, there are to many silly joke in their scenes such as Juvia to Gray or maybe the Masters or the silly cats. Rather different with Naruto which have a strong plot and strong character with less of silly joke.

Eh, not so much a copy, just kind of curious if this is common knowledge that there are literally HUNDREDS of parralls that are not far fetched at all

Not at all. Naruto characters have good back stories and the plot is actually solid and has meaning. Fairy Tail is nowhere near the leagues of Naruto or One Piece as far as Shounens go, and I have no idea how you feel that they are similar. By that logic, Fairy Tail is similar to One Piece and Bleach (Haki = Magic and Reiatsu = Magic and the other comparisons you gave).​

Btw Fairy Tail is not a rip off of Rave Master (Groove Adventure Rave), it is a parallel to it. It does share the same designs and themes, and certain characters are in it from their respective animes. However, Rave Master and Fairy Tail are set in completely different time periods: Fairy Tail is "medieval" while Rave Master is more "20th century". Anyway..... Sword Techs = Karyuu no Techs... there are very similar techniques and Fairy Tail makes a lot of references to Rave Master

Fairy Tail is similar but so are most Shonen manga. It's the same as how most main characters in shonen manga have similar goals. It only has to do with the genre, nothing else. I don't really like Fairy Tail's storyline myself, but I don't mind the characters.
