Naruto is like his clone. Kish too never gave up when he couldn't write a manga satisfactory to himself. He spent 2 yrs learning professional expressions from films and books and studied what would excite people by himself.
However he isnt a hit-driven writer but true to himself as a writer. Although he takes the readers' survey with sincerity he says "a good result would goes to your head and a bad result would bum you out." that hed rather not know the result. .
Kish's been always under pressure to meet a deadline as he works on his chap till the last min. it was almost 3 o'clock in the night when he finished the last chap, #700. Then the 7 editors, in charge of him in the past or present, came in and the first editor handed him a bouquet of flowers. Kish tried to act cool "flooded with memories I was struggling to hold back tears" "and I thought I managed to hide (tears) but later I was told 'it was close, wasn't it?' (by an assistant?)"
