I really don't like what I've seen/heard from The Last. It doesn't feel like Kishimoto wrote it, and many of the characters feel "off." Plus not enough Sasuke... I know the movie is about Naruhina, but it's a conclusion to the Naruto series. Sasuke is too big of a character to not give him proper development/screentime. There should have been a side arc with more Sasuke battles, where he has a chance to reflect on things he's learned over the series (the value of comrades, or his role as a protector, or perhaps comparing his previous plans to destroy the Shinobi world with Toneri's).

Point is, Boruto the Movie was FAR more of an epilogue than The Last; The Last feels more like Naruhina filler to justify the pairing.

They all had the byakugan before it being extracted out of their heads so him having some chakra draining technique isn't that odd
