The problem is that the guy is not consistent. He has some good pages, while others suck. I guess he still needs to train his hand to be sharp with the pressure of deadlines and Kishimoto breathing down on his neck.

The colored pages look good 'tho.

its a monthly thing tho. Plus this is out of Kishi's hands. He's just "supervising" it. Basically saying whether the new guy is sticking to the same characters (like he can't **** around with the older gen characters too much like change their personalities and stuff)

If anything, this chapter was just to catch up people who didnt get to watch the movie.

Plus, it's a flashback. I dont know why people are set that the new boruto series is the boruto movie.

It also makes me wonder whether this was made first before the movie. I mean there are designs that are different from the movie.

You'd think that he wouldnt have screwed around with the designs after seeing the movie.
