This is not true because the people she controlled did NOT have chakra at the time.

I've seen people say it can only be used by inflicting someone else with it by attacking their chakra, but this is proof that that isn't the only way; the defender doesn't have to have chakra is my point.

Well she used it to stop the war, which was before she was evil, but still means she used it.

She probably became consumed with power and her sons got sick of it and sealed her. Lol

When she first was revived she looked at Naruto and Sasuke and thought of Hagoromo and Hamura but then said "Indra and Asura". Meaning, she knew of Hagoromo's offspring which means that Hagoromo had already spread chakra at that time because he was preparing them to see who would be the successor of Ninshuu. Also, Hagoromo noted that she was once known as a goddess but then her power caused her to create conceit from it, and thus began to be known as the Rabbit Demon. That's most likely when she started casting the Genjutsu, since Hagoromo already knew about it.

no, it did not say she ended the war with it. it never said how she ended the war other than saying she gained the power from the fruit then she ended the wars. she could have used many things to achieve this like any of the many jutsu she had at her disposal. considering she knew indra and ashura, it must mean hogoromo had already spread chakra. which is why she and the tree turned into the juubi to try and get that chakra back.

Nope. Go re-read the chapters citing it. It had nothing to do with her Genjutsu use. I believe it was when Madara was describing the stone tablet. He said that she single-handedly stopped the war herself, nothing about Genjutsu. We only learned that IT was originally her jutsu because of Hagoromo, and that was over 30 chapters later.

You are right about the war, I just checked that, but it's still completely reasonable to think she used genjutsu in the war, and there is no way rikudo spread chakra to every living person on earth, or anywhere close. (Assuming he actually spread it himself)

Kinda like she apparently used ET despite the fact the sage hadn't yet created to moon for her to cast the jutsu off of. So again, nice observation, but I doubt you are correct simply because its one of those things Kishi neglected in his hasty design and story of Kaguya.

Kurama noted that Hagoromo spread chakra himself as a means to connect through spiritual energy, aka Ninshu. How do you spread Ninshu (which is just the sect of chakra bearing people) without chakra?

And no, you can't cast Genjutsu on people who don't have chakra networks to manipulate.
