I disagree with your interpretation of that poetic statement of Nagato. I have to play the role of the judge here and tell you that you have got zero understanding of the recent events - no offense.

BZ setup something to mess around with everything for the sole purpose of his mother's return. Now, unlike the stupid Uchihas and Senjus who have been dancing at the music that BZ created, you will notice that no Uzumaki did the dance, fortunately.

BZ handed his Rinnegan to Nagato, and Nagato really went for peace and died for piece. Tsunade has never been involved in any uchiha vs Senju business. She at some point fought Madara, yet she kept telling Madara that no one wanted his hatred. Karin has been fighting to show Sasuke that there is better than going all emo. Naruto has been constantly trying to save Sasuke's ass from falling into Bz's BS.

See, Nagato was talking about the possibility of a true god, one that can stop everything that BZ has been fooling around with. This is true because what happened between Naruto and Nagato did not support BZ's plan. Rather, the meeting between Naruto and Nagato delayed BZ's plan. it was a contrary wind that blown too strong against BZ's scheme, and even continue to blow against it.
