Im no Hiruzen Fanboy, so read before you judge me,
I am not saying Hiruzen can > Madara or obito, because first of all we have not seen him fight a lot of battles to judge his strength.
But what I am saying is that I believe Hiruzen is not that far behind Tobirama and Hashirama, Now your probably thinking Hiruzen fanboy blah blah, now let me back this up a little.
Hiruzen was the youngest to be Hokage out of all the Hokages.
He was trained by two of strongest ninja's in the Konoha History and think about it do you really think he is weak?
From all the training from Hashi and Tobirama just use logic here.
He was also the oldest to die out of all the Hokages age 69.
Now one of the most important points I am going to try and go in as much detail as possible.
Hiruzen vs Orochimaru, Hashi and Tobi, Now first of all the Naruto Manga first got published in 1999, now your thinking that im lying but I am not it got Published in USA and Canada in 2005. So we need to remember when Kishi wrote the manga where Hiruzen fought Orochimaru, Hashi and Tobi the POWER LEVELS were different to the current ones in 2013! I believe if Kishi was do redo that manga in Shippuden power levels he would of given Hiruzen a power boost. Now your probably going to say that the Edo's weren't at full power, whats "Full power"? Its not like they were running around using tai-jutsu they were using there Jutsu's. Who else do we know who could of taken on Orochimaru, Hashi and Tobiramu.
All I am saying is I believe Hiruzen is sometimes underrated and too overrated, some people are hating on him too much all I believe is that Hiruzen isn't as weak as everyone thinks he is.
After all he was the sensei of the Hokage, the guy that revived him and the past hokages and one of the best Konoha ninja's, and im not fanboying Jiraiya here I believe if he had the intel like Naruto did during Nagato Jiraiya could of actually of won.
