What if... what if this new dimension they're at... is actually the alternate dimension from the last cover?
It would make sense, since everybody is saying that castle that we're seeing is the one from last cover. Where do you think they would have to go to find it? And if you look closely at the sky where the trees are blocking it out, to the right of the castle we see gray clouds... or should I say... ASH CLOUDS? The volcano is also erupting in this dimension.
And if you look at Sakura, you can see she's clearly upset about something and nagging at Naruto. Maybe it's because she's aware that the volcano just erupted, and is getting mad that he's still playing with a dragon while pointing in the direction of either the volcano or the castle... could be either one. Maybe they're on a quest (rather than a mission) to the castle and Naruto is taking it very lightly. This may be where the two counterpart teams encounter each other.
This is the new world that Kaguya bought them to. The opposite of the shinobi world where the concept of shinobi, ninja and chakra exist, it's inhabitants consist of warriors, hunters and sorcerers. And these alternate Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura that we're seeing here will probably be introduced to us, even if briefly. I believe this even more so because this is her home dimension and nobody ever received chakra so they had to develop another form of fighting with energy. But this time, it's a much more rare ability to learn as it seems Kakashi is the only one who can use it.
