Just had a crazy idea for reading the manga finale...

As much as I do love NB and talking to you lovely people, I just had an idea.

This last chapter with Sasuke & Naruto finally jumping into the final stretch signifies the start of the climax right? Well, I've swapped from the anime to manga since Tobi got revealed and thought that now would be a great time to just...stop reading the manga. It'll require a lot of patience and spoiler avoiding but if i just cut the manga off here and watch the anime...I'll be able to experience the finale of the show perfectly in anime format.

This sounds awesome in my head but the only problem is that if something huge like Tobis identity is revealed again, there's sort of no escaping that. I swear that was almost national news because it was everywhere. Do you think this can be done? Or do you think I should I just follow it through with the manga with you guys?

Advice would be appreciated

No, you can't cut yourself off. You'd have to leave the Base for like months. While most things like that aren't really happening right now it can only get better from this point.

He makes the manga into slide shows with music. It is so good and epic it is sometimes better than anime. It comes out the night of/morning after the manga is released.

Example: You think Tobi is Madara, since you haven't gottent there. You give Madara new feats etc. Kamui. You get flamed by the members for being stupid and they take your posts in sig. After that they fill you with spoilers and you lost your enjoy in the anime and decide to stick with the manga.

Never happened to me, though I just thought some of the members in NB take things far too seriously.

And the idea was to just sorta not come back at all, because as you said I'd be buzzing and everyone else wouldn't care any longer :') I do love a lot of people on this forum though. Quite conflicted.

For some ridiculous reason I stopped reading the manga after Gaara fought his father and I still STAYED ON THE BASE. Why did I even do that?! Hearing kabuto got defeated and then Tobis identity plastered over the internet was the last straw and I got up to date in 2 days. I can't have that happen again :')

we are already like one year ahead of the anime.So you would have to wait for around one year before you get new content.

Also add on the fact that you might be fooled by fillers and stuff since then u wont be able to determine if this is actually a feat or filler.
Like seriously , in one of the anime episode, kiba destroyed rashoumon gates .

So if you plan on sticking with anime this is what you have to deal with:

Ironically I thought that episode was one of the best of the whole series and I wished it was canon.

I could deal with the year break and also I doubt there'll be an filler episodes in the final stretch of the show. I actually quote like filler. It's leaving the forum and spoilers which would be the only difficult bit.

I did that after Toonami was cancelled and I couldn't watch Naruto anymore. I came back right in the middle of the Kabuto fight, and I didn't know anything about Shippuden since the Naruto-Oro fight. It waqs great learning everythinjg, but now that we're so close to the end it seems silly for me to stop.

What's wrong with continuing with the manga until the end? You get the best of both worlds: reading the latest manga and enjoying conversations on the base AND looking forward to your favorite chapters being animated.

It's a different kind of anticipation for the anime, but I think it's the best way to go.

Very true but Naruto is such a big thing for me and I quite like the idea of ending it the way I started it. It's such a big risk though because the anime can be so temperamental. It could either be the amazing animation we got with Madara & The Sound 4 revival or that crappy animation when the 5 kages both started to fight Madara.

It can have some of the best animation around right now. But sadly it's very temperamental, like a little kid.

I used to do this:

I would watch the anime and only read the manga at the end of the month so that I would have 3-4 chapters to read through.
It allowed me more time to actually analyse the chapters and find it more enjoyable.
