Just got BF4 but can't play online?

So i just bought this game for cheap, obviously not for the singleplayer but do I have to play some singleplayer to unlock multiplayer or something? Please help

Not that I know of, I've never played one second of single player, you just have to wait for the full game to download, single player is the only thing available till its done

Not sure if you're in a console or PC. I have the game on PC and when i open it, it opens my browser and opens the bf website and there i have the options to choose a server or play the single player campaign. Not sure how it works on consoles though.

If it's on console next gen...you need to pay monthly fee for PSN or Xbox live to play online games.

Got 14 days free it's not that but I got the problem. Just need to know if it downloads while I play other games/while it's off.

Welp be careful with PSN on trial(if it's PSN),since it might get automatically renewed on your credit card if it expires,happened once to some people.

Depends, on ps4 it'll download while your doing anything not online(if your playing online it'll still download just really slow) or you can just leave the system in rest mode, I don't know sh t about xbone or pc, I'm assuming it's the same on xbone

There is an option to may monthly, but the majority of people would pay for the 1 year subscription that way they don't have to pay every month.

I have BF4 and once you install the update files, and you boot up the game. Usually the singleplayer will be playable, but the multiplayer will usually be at a certain percent because it needs to download the application data. Once that downloads successfully then you can probably play multiplayer.
