I know you've mentioned it before, but what exactly do you plan on getting your graduate degree in?
I'm getting my BS in molecular biology and statistics this Saturday. The subject of my PhD which I will start this fall is actually yet to be determined as I have been accepted into an umbrella program encompassing several degree tracks from which I can choose once I start. It will likely be in plant pathology, microbiology, molecular biology, or biochemistry.
How many hours is it till your birthday?
It's approximately 7,152 hours.
Eh, I dunno. ^_^ My matris is an ARNP specializing in Oncology. That's the direction I would go in, if anything.
Should I entirely abandon the hope of making decent money and become a piano teacher?
Yeah, if you treat cancer patients, I suppose that makes you an oncologist. I was thinking more along the lines of cancer research.
Really, career decisions are personal choices. You should do whatever will make you the happiest.
