College. I'm almost 20, haha.
Bio 1101
Well, I don't know what your college is like, but at mine the introductory level biology class is a weed-out course. What I mean by this is that it's intended to be very difficult in order to keep stupid people out of the biological sciences. Many people fail it. Your institution may be different.
My bio 1010 course wasn't bad for me because I had good biology teachers in high school. Basically, you should expect that they'll cover evolution,
very basic chemistry, photosynthesis, respiration, cell structure, and basic genetics. As to what is covered in your lab, it could be anything, really.
I enjoyed my intro biology course, but I basically knew it all before I started. What kind of experience you have will depend largely on your own bio background and your specific institution.
