Living beings do have a small electrical field caused by the biochemical reactions inherent in living tissue, and there is scientific equipment that can measure this activity. What is your opinion of yin and yang? In naruto,as well as in modern culture and marital arts(where in numerous cultures its not represented by the yin/yang name so you would have to do your homework on it).

There are many cases in modern society by people who practice the art of yin/yang for example Bruce lee,who himself was a martial arts practitioner.He as so fast that he could replace an object for the palm of one's hand,with another object before the time one takes to close the palm into a fist.

Yin and yang is an interesting conception of duality dealing with the interconnectedness of seemingly opposing forces. I appreciate it as a philosophical construct and nothing more. In Naruto, it's applied to the idea of balance (as in Naruto's training of the tailed beast bomb), the duality between people (such as Naruto and Sasuke), and the duality within oneself (like the good and evil sides of Sasuke). I wouldn't necessarily call Bruce Lee modern considering he died in 1973. However, yin and yang are central to Taoism which has gained a recent foothold in western culture as an alternative/eastern philosophy. Notably, Willy Nelson and Jeff Bridges are Taoists. In martial arts ying and yang are very applicable for understanding the balance between offense/defense and movement/stillness.

The basic understanding that opposing entities are connected is not unique to Taoism or even Chinese culture. However, it is an important concept.
