From what I've read, your control arms play more of a role when your vehicle has a higher lift. Most everywhere I read suggested that you need them for your vehicle, but if you already have them, you shouldn't need to swap them unless you're noticing excessive tire wear or if your steering is problematic (ie it pulls one way or another).
