Just finished watching The Last and honestly I loved the first 3/4 of the movie but the final parts were just too weird and distracting for me to handle. Here's my personal thoughts on the movie. Please feel free to share your opinions too!
PS: If this thread makes you unhappy because you've "seen too many The Last threads" then just leave the thread and enjoy your day, it's no biggie. I've been waiting forever to see this movie and am just excited to share my opinions.

THE PROS
*Spoiler warning*
1.) Hamura's Story:
I was amazed by how well put together Hamura's story was. His personal mission to stay on the moon to begin a clan of his own, and how the branch family collected the Byakugans for power was really interesting.
2.) The Animation:
Absolutely beautiful animation with great movement, colors and lighting.
3.) The Romance Story:
Honestly I thought I was going to hate this part, but it surprisingly wasn't too bad. Naruto and Hinata slowly start to rub off on each other and gradually grow close instead of it being immediate and convenient. There were a select few cheesy parts, but overall it didn't kill me.
4.) Toneri:
I actually liked Toneri as a villain. His warped view on Hamura's legacy was understandable (since that's all he ever knew while growing up) and being the last of his clan added a lot of realistic pressure to force him do what he did. I also liked how calm he was and that he never had too many goofy screaming villain moments.
5.) Naruto's orange Rasengans
Looks like he's starting to infuse Kuarama's chakra with his jutsus, which looks awesome!
6.) Naruto trying to rub his back
Just a damn funny scene that made me laugh haha. I think we've all been there before lol.

THE CONS
*Spoiler warning*
1.) Space Cannons:
I found Kumo's giant chakra space canon a little bit far fetched. Seriously that thing fired a laser around the entire earth lol. Wtf is the point of ninjas, jutsus, and anything else that makes the NV what it is when that crazy technology exists?
2.) Breathing on the Moon:
Naruto and his team somehow breathing in space; Pretty self explanatory.
3.) Kill Him!:
That moment when Toneri was just laying there on the floor in paralyzing pain due to the Tenseigan's final transformation really bugged me. Seriously Naruto and Hinata just stood there talking and didn't even consider taking that huge 30 SECOND window to completely obliterate their worst enemy lol.
4.) Not nearly enough Sasuke:
Seriously, why degrade such an important character to just a few seconds of screen time? He swore to protect the shinobi world from harm, but when he sees the moon plummeting to the earth he just chills in the desert and only contributed by taking out only one asteroid?
5.) Kurama outside of Naruto:
Probably my biggest problem with the movie. Kurama completely separated himself from Naruto in the final fight, which we all know is impossible or Naruto would surely die. It felt like no one on the production team knew the rules of NV or ever read anything from the series. It was a big slap in the face to NV logic.
6.) Moon Repairs:
The moon was ripped in half but we never saw how it was put back together. It just magically happened?
