[Discussion] just finished soa anime and it was amazing

just finished watching soa season 1 and i gotta say its not as bad as people make it to be ,first 13 episodes were amazing and then i was skeptical about watching it further more since most people said it gets really bad after that but i still watched and after finishing it i gotta say its an amazing anime and worth anyone's time

Yea, I really liked it. You should watch Season two (GGO) now, I actually catched up with it yesterday.

I seen it I didn't like it very much cause of how it completely changed it's tone and direction. The new direction it took was cliche, mediocre, and unrealistic so I couldn't take it seriously nor could I get very deep into its story (after it's change of direction and tone)

I just don't understand why most people dislike it. Its my second fav anime after Shinsekai yori.

I beg to differ i found the anime quite boring and mediocre.

I couldnt get into it,bad weird romance,playing mom and dad,random episodes that feel like filler,minimal boss fights (srsly,why skip so many boss fights...) and the first part ended with them beating the main dude early...not even fully beating the game...

Honestly I cant say all that many positive things about it

I thought the first season was okay. But I haven't been watching the others since. Just looking for other series.
