Just Finished Slam dunk!!

I gotta say its a perfect masterpiece the main character actually went from "zero to hero".
Its about a punk freshman who has no talent for the game and in a 3 month span he develops into a reliable teammate.
No wonder it was one of shonen jump alphas flagships.

Haven't tried slam dunk, even though I've heard it been praised to the skies.
I'm currently reading another work of his, vagabond, which I just started. It's brilliant and I'm going to finish that before I go on to slam dunk, because I know I will if it is by this author!
