Just Finished Deathnote Anime

Like the title says I just finished the anime version of deathnote and IT WAS AWESOME. I could literally feel my heart beating in anticipation during the last two episodes. I don't think I've ever been so sad that something was over. I'm reading the manga right now and it's pretty good too. So what about you guys, if you watched/read Deathnote how did you feel after it was over? And if you haven't watched it....you're missing out.

Death Note (anime) is awesome. It's in the same vein as Dexter and Breaking Bad. It's one of the best and is so good.

I know what you mean, it almost felt like it was getting overcomplicated but the end more than made up for it.

Death Note (anime) is awesome. It's in the same vein as Dexter and Breaking Bad. It's one of the best and is so good.

So many parts of Death Note reminded me of Breaking Bad when I was watching it a month ago. Criminal that justifies their actions though they're twisted and in the wrong. Both have close family members who are feds and are investigating them, but can't even see them for what they are. Both of those family members die on duty and the death is witnessed by both. Both are shot to death and die on their backs looking up a little while after they have been shot. Both have enemies they need to carefully take out. Both are immensely smart. Both have a naive, younger partner, except Jesse>Lovesick-chick-whose-name-I-can't-remember-I-but-think-it's-Mina. Both use another person to take out their greatest enemy(Walt used Tio to take out Gus, Light used that Shinigami to take out L.)

I loved it, L , Gevanni and Mello were awsome in my opinion. The manga has great art, however, I liked the anime more.

The anime's definitely in my Top 10, man. I was actually kinda unsettled by the ending the first go around (mainly cause I was still one of those rooting for Light around that time). Definitely a lot better when I look back on it, though.

To be honest they kinda dragged it out and i didnt like Ryukus appearance being cocky in the end. I kinda felt bad for Kira but then again he was bound to loose, i was surprised the L died though.

Kira was so desperate in the end, its kinda sad, and why would they use guns i mean comon..and then he just leaves and dies by bloodloss i mean comon.

When L died I stopped reading for like a year. Post L death, the series was alright but not as good for me. Especially since they added a reject version of L with Near.

The first part (with L) was better then the second (Near and Mello), but the ending was great, and very intense. I didn't realize they had different endings. I'm at L's death in the manga right now so that should be interesting to read.

Anyway, mby try Bakuman some time, same authors, and I actually like it more (it's pretty different though)

I finished the anime about two years ago. Really good, I especially liked the ending.
Not in my top ten anymore, though.
