Shikkotsu forest might not be for slug sage mode. It probably is, but possibly not. If Tsunade has slug sage mode and byakgyou, she would be stronger than her fellow sanin. By a lot. What if you learn the Byakugyou there?

Sakura recently told us she's been storing chakra for three years. That's kind of similar to Naruto's training with toad sage mode. Maybe that's it.

Hmm probably hashi's sage mode is the real deal? But I can't imagine him with only slug sage mode but maybe that's just how it is
