A lot of people do like the landscape changing fights of Madara and Hashi, and in all honesty that's pretty cool. They're the gods.
There are also characters who had pretty amazing abilities and were pretty much fodder.
Have you guys ever been on smogon? You know, for pokemon? What I'm trying to get at is in online pokemon battles, there are tiers. The tiers are pretty much separations of pokemon depending on their abilities and how often they are used.
So in other words, a high tier holding Mewtwo is different from a tier that holds a Pikachu.
Now with that being said, all of these threads, I really think its unfair to compare Hashirama to someone like Shino, because its literally a no brainer who is superior.
Maybe if people thought of a good fight between people who are on the same "level" of technique, there wouldn't be a lot of fighting on who is better.
Saying Itachi can beat someone like Hayate (Chunin Procter for third part, but not final) is obvious. And saying Naruto fighting someone like Konohamaru obviously leaves Naruto victorious. So instead of just mixing random characters who are no where near each other on levels of skill, think of some creative fights, or just keep the OP people in a different ladder than people who aren't OP.
