in receiving training

What if rather than the student going around looking for a sensei there was a system where after u have reached 50 post and have created your bio and it was accepted you were automatically assigned to a sensei and the limit to a sensei would be three students at a time ....... the sensei would train his students to a certain point and then they would move onto a new sensei in which ever direction they want to go (kinjutsu , summoningetc.)

to me i think this would be faster and easier in training cause i have recently seen many post from sensei's who have said the have a large amount of students in my opinion with those large amounts they often forget and have to bounce around from thread to thread with three students it is more manageable and the training would be done much quicker and also it could be a part of role play where the sensei and his three students could fight another sensei it would also give it a more naruto feeling like how in the anime after the students graduate from the academy they are assigned to teams

just my thought

I'm not sure i quite understand, but one problem is that there are loads of students so if a sensei only takes 3 students at a time, it'd make it worse since there would be more people left untaught?

Some senseis take up to 20 students, though it may take longer, at least more people are taught that way.

I think there's too many students for this particular system, but I do wish there was some sort of system of assignments and if students take too long to respond they get dropped and another is picked up.

I have around 30 students and in my opinion it goes just fine. I try to reply whenever I can and so do they. Having a limit of 3 would bore me.
Also, it is better if one can decide to leave a sensei or to drop a student or whatever to not get big arguments.

that is not a bad idea, but i don't like it either.

But i would like if every user would get one sensei automatically.

It would never work. There are too many newer RPers each day for us to keep up with.

And some of us have more time for students than others...

i understand with that there would need to be alot more sensei's and idk how long it takes to train a student but with three at a time they could go through the same 30 students a day if they arent busy were they are more managed rather than jumping from thread to thread and some students being forgotten

there would be different sense's who could train different rank justsu

Yeah everyone can say how many students they'd be willing to take on and what they will train and students can be assigned. At least everyone will then know they are waiting in line instead of spamming trainers and complaining and feeling ignored.

Well, instead of creating separate threads for training Students, why don't many Sensei/Sempai's set a thread to train many new upcoming students the basic knowledge of Ninja Arts and Elemental Ninjutsu? Sorta like a Ninja Academy Class. This can help many RP'ers start off. Also, Many Sensei/Sempai's could just teach them the preferred ranking Jutsu without having them give detail. Since they went through the Academy Class they want have to give detail, they would just start out performing the Jutsu.

3 students at a time is ridiculous. There would be chaos and too much complaints. I've had 37 students teaching at one time, it ran smoothly. Others like Leaf and the Pervy Sage always have around 30-40 students teaching at a specific time period. If you do the approximated Math, three of us alone made roughly 100 satisfied at that specific time period. If your system is taken into play, it would be 9 students over a period of time, leaving 91 that could have been taken without training.

If the number was expanded to say, 10 people or something the sensei/senpai like, it might work. I like this idea and it prevents people from having like, 10 sensei at the same time which is just stupid. You don't need to have training for every single element plus all the other stuff all at the same time.

Here's what I would think of it as pros for the idea which I support.
- It would more likely create a closer bond with the teacher and the student, so they'd feel more free to talk to them about any problems they have.
- It creates more training opportunities for new people.
- You wouldn't have to feel rushed at all to get anything done.
- It'd create a more friendly atmosphere, getting training right from the bat would encourage people to come back to the RP instead of being rejected by everyone.

I know it wouldn't work, but it's more because of everyone around the place. You've got the "new gen" of people who need to have at least 9 teachers at the same time and they all need to reply at least once a day for them to be contempt. And then there's the teachers, where some of them refuse to train people unless they can learn the entire element at once, which really isn't fair.

It used to go like that. There used to be a sensei for every rank and it was a mess. Have scorps close the thread

This system would actually be worse than the current one and would put a severe limit in the number of people who are taught. Also, we must remember something, every person has different availability and online time, both the teachers and the students. So, 3 students and none replies during one week. The teacher would be wasted for that whole week.

Thanks for trying but currently, we still haven't found better alternative to the current system.
