Rank the films in order of your own preference depending on entertainment, story, thrill, characters, and special/practical effects.

I love all the films but this is my order

1. Jurassic Park
2. Jurassic World
3. The Lost World: Jurassic Park
4. Jurassic Park 3

The Jurassic Park franchise is known for featuring kids in the film as supporting characters, for the kids throughout all the films my favorites were the kids that were in Jurassic World, Zach and Gray. (In my signature)

Oh and Jurassic World Blu Ray (Digital) released yesterday, with the physical copy releasing on the 20th of this month.

Haven't watched Jurassic World yet...

- Jurassic Park
- Jurassic Park: The Lost World
- Jurassic Park III

My fav. character would be, Ian Malcom with Dr. Grant sometimes...
Fav. dinosaurs would be, T.Rex from the JP and Spinosaurus from JPIII

I'd agree with the order you put, but my big problem is Jurassic park and jurassic world are pretty much the same film lol.

Big dinosaur chasing them - t rex in the first one, hybrid one in the new one
Raptors - don' trust them for a while, the come and save the day at the end
Screaming kids - same old

xd

Not to knock the films but it's like more of a remake than a new film

I didn't see JW yet, but I'd be ok even if it does seem like a remake of JP.

The original film is about 22 years old, which is rather young for a remake, though.

It was rather hard for me to decide between JW and JP for the top spot as JP was the movie that got me into the series and my avid love for Dinosaurs, as well as what Pervy said the two were quite similar but arguably they couldn't be anymore different. With the next movie slated for release in 2018, I can see why they kept this one (JW) similar to the first in so many ways. But I am glad they kept it different. Hell they even managed to place some subtle JP3 bashing into the movie as well.

It's actually not a remake, the story of the film is set 22 years after the "horrific events" that took place on Isla Nublar which is the island in the first movie and the events are mentioned in Jurassic World as well, the new park Jurassic World takes place on the same Island as the first film, Isla Nublar and spoiler alert, you get to see the old park from the first movie in ruins which plays a part in the new movie. Also Jurassic World has honorable mentions to John Hammond who created the first park but is confirmed in this movie to have been deceased. A notable character from the first movie reappears in Jurassic World, Dr. Henry Wu the Asian scientist from the first movie at the begin in of the movie in the Lab during the tour when Dr. Grant and co. we're looking at the raptor egg. All in all this movie is no remake but meant to actually be a sequel, and the best one at that.

Edit: look at my sig, you can see the kids from the new movie Jurassic World driving in escape on one of the old rusty jeeps from the first film and can see the old electric gate in the back that's obviously non functional. :)
