kabuto clearly states that orochi study the jugo clan trying to find out wear there source of power came from and he said it was mount R.(dont kno how to spell it but the snake mountain) if thats the case then why wouldnt curse mark be snake style sage mode(NOTE: it was never stated that sage mode was the same for snake,frog,and etc.) kabuto went into a INCOMPLETE TYPE of sage mode and instead of looking more and more like a snake (like in frog sage mode you look more and more like a frog the more N. energy you take in) kabuto started looking more and more like orochi!?! okay he pumped his blood into his self so we thought orochi was coming back by taking over kabuto's body, but we kno now that wasnt the case.

so from that i think its safe to say sasuke already had A FORM of snake sage mode(curse mark from jugo, and jugo abilities come from mount R.)

who kno snake sage mode might not be as strong as toad sage mode.

Nah, Juugo is just a manifestation of Nature Chakra without an outside element. An outside element would be something like the influence of the Toads and Snakes specific training that they obviously have for their sage mode.
