Alright for one, the most I know about Dark Release is that it's a kekkei genkai that was possessed by the shinobi Hiruko in the 3rd Shippuden movie and as a result, due to his Chimera technique a nameless shinobi who's origins are unknown. From what I've seen in the movie, Dark Release focuses on the absorption of a shinobi's chakra (absorbs their technique) and then redirects it in the fashion seen fit by the user, converting their opponent's chakra into dark chakra. With Hiruko he absorbed an attack (I forget which one) with the technique inhaling Maw and then he re-directed it with Judgement which was essentially a outwards burst of blue flames. Although, we see in the 2nd Movie Bonds, that the shinobi Shinno possessed Dark Chakra and as I've seen those techniques within cannon Meiton section of the base I suppose it comes into play here. With Shinno however, he possessed the Dark Chakra...I believe from the Zero Tailed Leech (correct me if I'm wrong) which meant he had the chakra inside him and he was able to manifest that chakra to a wave of chakra and a shock wave and a technique which looked like Rasengan which essentially possesse a spherical shape and that of resemebled an atom I think. Although these two types may be different, everything seems to be centered around the hands, as Hiruko showed a strange duel dimond shaped mark on his hands, one absorbed chakra while the other released it. However this same pattern wasn't prevelent on Shinno's hand.

It was never specified or said which two chakra natures made up the Dark Release Kekkei genkai in the movies however for the sake of the RP, the mods decided it would be best fit to place the two elements together which represented the aspects of Darkness. Yang generally being the dark side of the half so Fire and Lightning. With my best assumption the only thing that would be strong against Dark release would be the complete opposites meaning a combination of the two elements weaknesss. Water<Fire Wind<Lightning so the combination of those two would be Ice Release.

I'm not exactly sure about the combination of Dark Release, as the kekkei genkai itself maintains different properties of what you'd see of normal two element Kekkei genkai. You have Lava which comes from a volcano and the elements that make it up are Fire and Earth. Ice comes from water and wind, potentially because the wind cools the water down to or below 0C. Boil release with Fire and Water, simply you have fire and water working in a unison to create steam. Even the kekkei Tota of the Tsuchikage possess aspects of real. The Fire and earth inside of a vaccume of wind will create the dust particles to obliterate your opponent (I believe that's correct). Dark Release however isn't manifested in any one perticular aspect that's simplistic as the other. It has absorption, which isn't something a normal element can do, not to the same extent as what we've seen we've seen it manifest into blue flames however we've also seen shockwaves an solitified techniques that don't have the same flaming propertis as we'll see from Dark Release: Devine Judgement...In short I'm unsure of the best types of combinations. Maybe it could be combine with the elements that make it up like Fire or Lightning.

As far as we've seen (well at least me) the only users that have had the Dark Release element or Dark Chakra have bee in the Shippuden movies

*I sit down and close my eyes and I begin to look deeply inwards into myself. I loose myself into the recesses of my mind, coming into a dark wide open area within my mind. I feel deep down, deep within my body and my core, what I've known to always be present in my body; the kekkei genkai that is my birth right, my heritage...and my power.

As I sit down the and begin to recognize the dark nature of my chakra swirling within me, I feel the properties of Fire and Lightning almost as if they're intertwined with each other. The insinorating heat and power of fire, leveling everything it it's path, spreading and spreading until there is nothing else; the speed and uncontroled hyperactivity of Lightning, latching onto whatever allows it and traveling at high speeds inserting dozens of volts within whatever it comes into contact with.

As I notice these two natures deep within me intertwined, I feel the true power that lay beneath their surface. The power of these two elements, the overwhelming strength. My Dark chakra consisting of these powerful nature entities. It's power, it's destructive and wild potential. It invogorates my body, just the pure feel of the immensly powerful nature within my body. I feel a strange almost evil power as well, a leeching power that sucks the energy away from whatever it comes into contact with.

The birth mark on my hand begins to give me a sensation as I feel these properties. I feel as though the power inside me...is strong yet the power to take the power away from others and convert into my own power is just as desiring an instict as the former.

Everything in me becomes vivid as I sit for sevearl minutes medidating....brething, feeling the chakra circulate through my body. I feel the innate uncontroled power inside me screaming to be tamed and released and I feel the desire for other's chakra as well screaming for the same intentions....*

My core chakra of Dark release manifests and I channle the power of my kekkei genkai through my body, channling it through my left arm and into my hand. The chakra builds up large into my hand as it travels through my arm and I open my eyes. I hold my arm out in front of me, directing towards a small tree and I emit the stored chakra from my hand and I release waves of Dark chakra from my hand which shoot outwards. As it makes contact with the tree, it destroyes the small little tree with it's force.*

I focus my Dark chakra through my body and into my hand. I open my eyes as you create your clone and I hold my hand out, channling the stored chakra into my hand and releasing the widespread wave of dark chakra out towards your clone. The force of the wave carries your clone back far and just before he disperses into thin air he feels the coldness and evil of my chakra nature*

*I begin by first channling my chakra into both of my hands. I focus on my Dark chakra, the properties of Yang, taintend and raw power with an almost demonic and evil presence. Your clone stands mid-ranged from me as I focus a powerful amount of chakra in my hands. Once my dark chakra becomes so strong a presence within my hands I release my hands outwards, creating a powerful shock wave from my hands, which extends outwards towards you clone and the dexterity and power of my chakra reaches him and overwealms him with blast. You're clone disperses almost immediatly upon impact with the powerful wave of chakra*

*I quickly get on guard as you finish your explination of the technique and begin to emitt your large mass of water. I place my hand out quickly in front of me focusing on the darkness of my chakra. The leaching properties of my abilities to forcibly extract the chakra from another as if I were a parasite. As the water comes within close enough vicinity my hand forcibly begins to attract the technique within my grasp and the water, along with every ounce of the chakra used to create it is sucked into my body through my hand. I feel the immense power of your chakra inside me, it's deliscious and I feel my own Dark Natured chakra converting it and syncing it with my own Meiton Chakra*

The large mass of flames travels out quickly from my hand, just after you create your clone. My blast hits your clone, dispersing it upon impact with the powerful Dark energy flames*

Sensei I have one question concerning Inhaling Maw. The technique takes away the chakra of the techniques and extracts the physical properties and spiritual properties. Does this only work on say, elemental ninjutsu or could this work on ninjutsu like Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu?

Or how would it work against Earth based ninjutsu like if a pillar of earth was coming towards me? Would it work in that scenario as well?
