Well, considering that Depp is an actor and Tarantino is a director, I don't think it's fair to make that kind of comparison.

But, if I had to choose, I'd say I prefer Tarantino's works.

You didn't include Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs in the list of Tarantino movies? Pulp Fiction is the best movie ever made in my opinion and Tarantino is one of my top five directors along with the Coen bros and Christopher Nolan. I didn't even know Johnny directed movies but those movies that are in that list are not even close as good as Tarantino's movies imo .

Quentin tarantino Movies are awesome and has this Cool Arie Vibe to them with Dark comedy.

While Johnny depp as an actor is more involved in More Childish comedies..

Pirates of the caribbean Ftw.(the only johnny deep movie i like)

and for those who say Quentin ain't an Actor he Took part in some of his movies.

Finding Neverland is directed by Marc Forster, Alice in wonder land is directed by Tim Burton, Edward Scissorhands is also directed by Tim Burton, Lone Ranger is directed by Gore Verbinski, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is also directed by Tim Burton, Pirates of the carribean is also directed by Gore Verbinski and lastly Dark Shadows is also directed by Tim Burton so basically none of them are "made" by Johnny although he plays a major role in them. Also two of the Tarantino movies are wrong because Planet Terror and Sin City are directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Frank Miller.

I didn't ask who was the better director, I asked who made better movies.

The two individuals I noted are credited to making movies awesome from their performance, influence & direction.

They each have artistic signatures that everyone is drawn too.

Johnny Depp is a versatile actor . One of the best in the industry IMO. I cant picture any other actor portraying those roles as brilliantly as Depp especially Jack Sparrow.
