Apparently in today's chapter Juubito admitted to be have been defated by jiryia since he was the one who trained Naruto.
-
I suppose you can say that. I mean if in a movie the hero creates a robot/virus/plot weapon that defeats the enemy the hero is granted the victory without question. So in this case Jiryia created Naruto and NAruto defeated Juubito that means that Jiryia soloed Juubito without even lifting a finger.

Is it just me or is this shitty logic?

Yes, you're correct; this is a logical fallacy—infinite regression. For example: "the universe was created by the big bang, but what caused the big bang? It must have been God." In other words, you regress until you meet some convenient truth that in actuality has little significance or correlation with the actual inquiry. The reasoning becomes cyclical—and thus devoid of any demonstrable proof.

Actually it's a "No-one-cares-but-good-Job"-Statement. You can also say Raz Alghul saves gotham City all the time, because he created Batman. Just filling another speechbubble of a half-hearted written page.

For all intents and purposes of making Jiraiya fans feel good, yes, Obito was defeated by Jiraiya.

But in terms of battle, no. Obito was defeated by the SA.

That's far too sensible a post for NB!

Correct. Jiraiya stomped Juubito without even breaking a sweat. Anyone who Naruto beats from now on is also stomped by Jiraiya

minato created naruto

Made me lol xD

OT: No... you are wrong... you can't consider Naruto a weapon he is a person. A person walks his own path and takes his own decisions. Of course Naruto wouldn't have come this far without Jman but that's about it :)

He was defeated by Jiraya's ideals.

Jiraya has and will always be a top 5 most important character. He was not just Naruto's sensei in a manner comparable to Kakashi, he was also a philosopher, who influenced Naruto in a way, that is currently influencing everybody around him more than anything else.

obito was probably trying to make himself feel better by acknowledging naruto's hard work to get to where he was

Or to put it simply, as rock<scissors and scissors <paper, therefore proving that rock <<paper. The fools still don't know that "gun" is an option
