jiriaya,tsunade, and orochimaru were in a loop of a final destination circuit which is why when one sannin is close to dying the next one will be effected.

in reality orochimaru,tsunade, and jiriaya were going to die but things changed and as a result they have cheated there own death and now are in a circuit to die just like in final destination when one cheats death and the sannins cheated death against hanzo.
