A can beat base Jiraiya mid diff at best but SM Jiraiya stands a chance of winning. A would be busy fighting Jiraiya and his summons such as Gamabunta,Gamakichi,Gama and Gamaken;also Jiraiya would have the two toad sages with him plus in Sage Mode Jiraiya's strength increases and he has displayed brilliant Taijutsu skills beating three of the six paths of pain in close combat one on one, Jiraiya can also trick A by causing a distraction like he done in his fight with Pain making the Toad Sages use Smoke Bombs then either burn A with Sage Art:Goemon or hit A with a Chou Oodama Rasengan. But if in base A wins low-mid diff but in Sage Mode J-man wins high diff.
