because the argumentsfor itachi on this subjects are always better then the ones minato recieves.

It's not about whos better it's about who will (win) in terms of abilties if they fought, it's easier to come up with an argument for itachi because of feats.
and I've conceived that Minato lacks the feats to beat Itachi, and feats are what the VS threads run on. Minato may be stronger in terms of author-intention, but I maintain that he is weaker in feats. And in feats, Itachi is an absolute monster, truly rivaled only by madara Nagato, Kabuto, and Tobi. Here is my take:

Typically, you need special training to even have the option of fighting Itachi on even ground. Minato has no feats of special training, doujutsu to see through genjutsu, or a tailed beast to break him out instantly, more importantly minato seemingly doesn't know not to look at uchihas eyes at all considering he looked into the eyes of the man he thought was madara uchiha.

Moreover, no character possesses the speed feats to touch healthy Itachi one on one - even on even ground - given that current Naruto and Bee were unable to. Hiraishin(FTG) is, of course, an exception, but given that Bee countered it to an extent - Itachi likely can as well as he displayed better reactions in his fight with base killer bee who had to be warned of itachis presence.

Moreover, Itachi has cloning feats to make Hiraishin more difficult to use as a finisher. Can you imagine Minato with a clone feat? He'd rule the Battledome. Itachi x 2 is too much for most, like Minato x 2 or Madara x 2 would be. His Karasu Bunshin defeated post-wind Naruto. Also, Itachi’s Kage Bunshins explode, and the databook I indicates that you need a special eye to tell that the bunshin is about to explode which minato does not.

However, avoiding Itachi’s eyes isn’t enough. You have to avoid his fingers as well, and the eyes of his crow-summon, which has Shisui’s Sharingan, and can cast powerful Sharingan genjutsu at Itachi's discretion that crippled post-wind Naruto. There are immeasurable opportunities for Itachi to create an opening for his very fast attacks and jutsu.

Zetsu said that the requirement to break Sharingan genjutsu was having a greater net-combination of genjutsu skill and eye power. Madara said Itachi let Sasuke out of his genjutsu: Sasuke didn’t have the Mangekyō or more genjutsu skill. The databook, a source of canon, says that Kais don't work, which makes since, as the med-nin genjutsu user, C, wouldn’t have been fodderized by Sasuke’s genjutsu otherwise. Therefore, Minato's ability to effectively counter genjutsu is more dubitable than Itachi's ability to counter Hiraishin, because even if he was a counter, he doesn't have a feat of having a counter.

immune to bodily fatigue. Look at his list of jutsu used against Nagato and Naruto, and realize that he didn't appear to be nearing his limit. He's a genius and a hard worker, so this shouldn't be surprising.

To reiterate, I personally believe the author sees these two are but in terms of deductive arguments based on feats, there is little room to argue that a speedster without a feat-counter against genjutsu can beat an illusionist with many feat-counters against speed. Koto akutsumi can take control of a character, lets say shisui ues it to tak control of nagato and danzo takes control minato.

it's now danzo minato nagato and shisui vs naruto.

But Minato n Nagato are no noob.....one the leader of Akatuski n the other one of the strongest kage
So I doubt they would fall so easily for that on the battlefield (just sayin)

Edit, so you can use dead nins? Then ill go shisui, danzo, and itachi.
Ka plus tsukuyomi and everything would win. There is no way minato and nagato would be able to avoid it, and i dont know how quick naruto could get em out while being attacked by 5 guys even in bm. Really cheap and gimmicky and it still might lose but this is the best bet.

So what are the feats required to beat Itachi
Minato was considered to be a genius right from blah blah blah....
Even Jonin level ninjas....(u know what)

Buttt.if feats are everything then how come Hashirama= Madara that time cuz Hashirama teamed 5-6 beast n Madara only the kyubi...(read it in some thread...dunno where)

Minato looked into Tobi's eyes n still won?(don't you think that's cool)

By far there is no ninja who evaded Minato's FTG(I know bee knew it back then that Minato's gonna teleport behind him but still Minato got his back)
I know Itachi's reflexes are superfast n all but Minato moves with the speed of light (atleast that's what I heard) how do you think he'll counter that?
And all Minato has to do is just touch him n place a seal on him...then he can take all the time in the world and then hit him later lol

If Itachi wants to place Minato under a genjutsu....he'll have to make sure that Minato doesn't move much....cuz if he can't see him (cuz he's fast) who is he gonna place under genjutsu?

Being only a speedster wouldn't make one a Hokage (else the next Hokage would be rock lee)
