I don't even know what this is ^. I like Itachi but Sasuke is my favorite if you must know. Itachi was indeed healthy when he was younger at one point and fact proves he owned a Sannin.

I also never once mentioned that drugged fight and honestly no they were not even. The drug only weakened his ability to mould chakra and Orochimaru was holding his own against 2 Sannins with just manda and his evasive skills.



Realtiy: Oro was underestimating Hiruzen and never performed any of the 1st and 2nd hokages best techniques. Fact is Hiruzen caught Oro in a death reaper seal which was a suicide move to begin with because he would have lost either way.

Reality: Jiraya takes to long to enter sage mode and without won't stand against most top ninjas.

The comment " if itachi is health " lead me to believe that you are an itachi fan, and if you like sasuke then your second best is itachi. Dude you mentioned that fight in the first page aswell..... And they were even, oro could use his hands and j-man could barly hold his balance yet alone mold chakra, do they were even...... also jiraiya was never struggling when fighting the animal path because as i recall he was fighting with his hands clasp and still forming shadow clones fire styles and barrier techniques.Which other ninja have you ever seen forming jutsus without hand signs.not even the "mighty" itachi.you are the one underestimating jiraiya.

he has got it right. jiraya was never been tested to his full potential as a ninja in his prime. So comparing to itachi who is around his prime and jiraiya pass his prime there about the same skill down to itachi famous sharingan. at the time itachi was undefeated and so was jiraya and both stayeed this way untill death.

Plus pain was a hokage top ninja of the village after tobi was controlling the mizukage (sorry for spelling) the lil kage with a tailed beast inside him. i believe if jiraiya turnt a outlaw at around his prime. he would of been rivaling tobi for the number one villain. Member tobi is madara A LEGENDARTY CHARACTER known by all generations. technically the second strongest shonbi of all time

After my boy sasori was shown again in the manga i had to pay my respect by honouring him with an avatar xd.

Anyway anybody who reads the manga and knows exactly what they are talking about will tell you that pein and itachi will defeat jiraiya. Majority will also acknowledge what kisame said as respect for the sannin name in general but also he has shown us more feats which hins that he can defeat jiraiya and imo he will.

Anywayill give a brief description of my thread and explain why jiraiya is overrated, this is in relation to his 3 hypes that is all false. First one is what deva path said. Majority of people do not understand that deva path gave praise to jiraiya and even he said 'there is no better praise i can give', the use of the word praise by him alone should hint to even the dumbest of people that, he was praising and giving homage to his decreased sensei. Secondly majority actually believe that if jiraiya had info he would defeat pein and that is false.

Just because you have info on an opponent doesnt mean you have the abilities or techniques to use this info to your advantage. If you notice as well jiraiya never fought the strongest path in deva and yet got defeated. Even if jiraiya had all the info, he doesnt have the technique to get past chibaku tensei. Itachi also knew the weakness of ct, yet he doesnt have a technique to break it and thats what people dont understand. Just because you have info doesnt mean you will come out on top, he wouldve done better, but ultimately wouldve lost. We didnt even see all of nagato's technique's because it was said he mastered all the elements and he didnt even show us 1 elementary technique. Even with info jiraiya would've lost to nagato

The second false hype is what Itachi said about him. First of all its a massive mistranslation which has later been clarified and id very much like kishi to say in an interview that it was a mistranslation. But lets say it wasnt a mistranlation and go with it. We should should know by now not to go by itachi's words. We at first thought he killed the clan to measure his potential, that was proven false. We thought he killed them by himself, that was proven false. We thought he came to konoha for naruto, that was proven false. He came to pay his respct for sarutobi, tell danzo that he is still alive but also keep an eye on sasuke. We thought he was a bad guy, that was proven false. He wanted to take sasuke's eyes to gain the ems, thats was proven false.

Now even in the latest manga releases where, where kabuto said he has never said he was a complete liar never to have told a single truth when he was alive this should tell you something. Add to this he has said he is the leaf's uchiha itachi, whats the point in fighting another leaf ninja. Add to this itachi has already stayed calm and defeated a stronger sannin in oro at a much younger age. Now lets say oro and jiraiya were to swap positions, meaning jiraiya is bad and oro was good. Majority will agree that itachi will do what he did to oro to jiraiya and wouldve run away from oro.

Third third false hype is kisame who is bit more complicated and ill explain in alot more detail in my thread. What im saying is that jiraiya is truly overrated if people think he can beat the paths. He is overrated if people actually believe he can beat itachi, let alone beat both him and kisame (who himself has a great chance of soloing jiraiya) together. Jiriaya is strong but people overrate him when they put him in the same league as pein and itachi who lets be honest have shown us more impressive abilities and feats than jiraiya
