Minato's full name is Namikaze Minato, the former of which I think translates to "wind and waves" or something like that, beyond that we don't know it's significance, which could still be detailed later if Kishi wants. As for Jiraiya, who knows. Thus, they're not in the same situation identity wise at this point. Sorry, good luck with the fan fiction.
