with his summons sage mode speed massive jutsu data that he has ..im sure he has will have more data on sasori ...even small rasengans are enough for those lousy pupets..as far as poison is concerned he has good reflexes to dodge them with SM..but a hard fight coz genjustu wont work on that puppet

Jiraiya is a beast, but he has never shown to be particularly evasive. And he has been shown that he is vulnerable to poisons. If we take it a step further, Sasori most likely has intricate knowledge on Jiraiya - remember that he was partnered with Oro and Jiraiya is well known by pretty much everyone in the manga. On the other hand, virtually the only thing that Jiraiya would know about Sasori would be that he is an expert puppeteer. Without the knowledge that Sasori converted himself into a puppet, Jiraiya would be fighting at too much of a disadvantage to win this fight more than half the time. Sasori should win this match up under most circumstances.

Sasori OWNS. Jiraiya can probly get past scorpion, possibly third Kazekage. he'd have a hellova time getting past 100 puppets, but even if he does, theres no chance he'd beat Sasori's true form. it'd be close, but im going with Sasori.

I think Jiraya can win this. First of all Ma and Pa have genjutsu (why wouldn't that work? Sasori can still hear), and each have their own water and wind style jutsus. Jiraya in SM has more speed than Sakura and Chiyo. And even if he does get poisoned (which still takes time to work) he only needs to get close to Sasori and use Odama Rasengan to finish him off, even if he dies later.

Jiraiya spent most of the manga gathering intil... Jiraiya would know about the 3rd's iron sand.

detection barrier will give him time to react to iron sand.
Toad mouth trap would trap Sasori in the stone toad where jiraiya controls everything.
Boss summons will give time for Jiraiya to enter sage mode.
I believe Sasori can be effected by genjutsu because he can see and hear meaning he has to have a brain it just wasn't revealed.
ma & pa Genjutsu effects his chakra flow and puts him under and Jiraiya wins.

Ive ben reading the manga again and although i acknowldged that sasori is one of the most underrated in the Series and kishi massively trolled us by letting sakura and chiyo defeat him, he tried to reconcile this and say sasori let chiyo and sakura win. Anyway after going back to that fight, sasori could command a place in the top 10, due to his fighting style. You have to get past his scorpion form, then the 3rd kazekage, then 100+ puppets, then himself. Too mcuh fire power, not to forget due to his attacking style he merely needs a scratch to win his fights.

Although its clear poll results merely shows who a member favours, ill still include it U_U

Anyway its clear as day jiraiya would lose without sm, so lets give jiraiya sm to begin with.
