Hm.. well the only reason Sakura and Chiyo managed to win too was because they also had antidotes. Otherwise, they would've pretty much lost. I think Sasori would take this simply because Jaraiya would eventually get scratched. To many things to worry about though i'm not sure whether the Iron Sand itself is poisoned. If Sage Mode grants Jaraiya steel or rock hard skin that would deflect incoming projectiles, then I'll give it to Jaraiya. But since I don't think that's the case, I'll give it to Sasori. Jaraia doesn't seem to have things to counter poisoned weapons or poison smoke itself.

I believe Jiraiya wins. Why? Because although sasori is a formidable oppenent going off of what we've seen of him(sasori), jiraiyas range of jutsus will be to much for him.

jiraiya has experience fighting lethal poison wielders
Swamp of the underworld immobilizes hiruko who he will most likely use first and doesn't seem very mobile in the first place. Wild lions mane tech breaks it.
As for the army of puppets toad summonings combined with toad oil bullets can wipe them out. These puppets didn't seem to be very evasive either. Maybe because he had to concentrate on so many. The fact that he has so many at his disposal and simply doesn't care may be another reason.
The kazekage puppet is his best chance of dealing with jiraiya but the toads can deal with sasori while jiraiya goes into sm a strategy he already displayed he is capable of against Pain. After that he'll be to fast for sasori and the kazekage puppet to keep up with and resengan takes them both out.
Sasori can then eject his heart but if jiraiya already reduced his puppets to ashes where is it going to go.
I know it wouldn't be simple but jiraiya wins with high difficulty.The only question is what amount of dosage would it take for the poison to effect the such large toads?

Still i'm also wondering what it will take of poison to take down such an enourmous toad as Gamabunta.

I personally believe Sasori has this. Theres just too much going on that could put Jiraiya out of business quick. He would be able to get through Hiruko, most likely damaged highly from his needle arm cannon; then 3rd Kazekage is devastating to his stamina with Iron Sand since there are practically many things that Iron Sand can manuever around against Jiraiya. After that, 100+ Puppets with Sasori in full puppet form would deteriorate his body quick. Its about a very slim chance he walks away from any of those battles without getting hit once, Jiraiya is not that agile nor advantaged enough to dodge every single attack Sasori throws with poison weapons.

Jiraiya and Sasori are two of my favorite characters from Naruto. I have to say though that Jiraiya takes this and not because of his title either. Blaze, your argument that Jiraiya can’t use his summons because of the area that they are fighting on is not clear to me. What do mean by this? Is it because the barrier created by the Sound Four is activated for this fight too, and if the summons touch it, they turn into giant frog legs? Or is it because the building won’t hold the summons’ combined weights? I need more confirmation of what you mean by this statement.

Anyway you have started Jiraiya in sage mode which means Ma and Pa are with him. He doesn’t need to use frog kumite to crush any of the puppets. The last time I checked the puppets are made of wood, so fire will affect them. The fastest part about Hiruko is his tail. He himself wasn’t shown in the manga to be fast, so Jiraiya’s Swamp of the Underworld is a nice way to completely bury Hiruko with Sasori inside. When Sasori uses the Iron Sand technique Jiraiya can first nullify the poison on the sand with fire. Then because of the boost in Sage Mode dodge the sand. While the sand, assuming Sasori used all of the sand in one attack, is away from the Third Kazekage puppet, Jiraiya can attack it with a combined fire/ oil bullet attack or fire/ wind combo attack. The crazy arm attack can also be countered by using fire attacks assuming those arms are wooden. The poison inside the arms probably would be released but can be blown away by a wind jutsu or maybe even burned, not really sure about this method though. I doubt Sasori would risk sending the Third in for close combat.
100 Puppets:
This is tricky because like everyone has stated it’s a lot of attacks to keep up with, but Jiraiya is in Sage Mode, so he can sense the chakra threads attached to every puppet, so he can at least sense where all the puppets are at one time. Going strictly from memory, it didn’t look like any of these puppets had long range weapons, so they are going to have come in for close combat. I guess they could throw the swords and everything, but Jiraiya’s Needo Jizo could deflect them. If Sasori tried to swarm Jiraiya and overwhelm him with all of the puppets from different directions, Jiraiya would have Ma and Pa to watch his back and use their fire and wind jutsus while Jiraiya uses his own fire jutsu, or he could use a substitution jutsu or clone jutsu then follow it up with a giant fireball jutsu to finish them off, or he could use shadow clones to help use fireball jutsu and watch his back. Sasori is too vulnerable when using the 100 puppets because he has to focus on them, which can be a huge opening for Jiraiya. Sasori may send a swarm of a few puppets and wait to see how Jiraiya reacts though.

Sasori really isn’t that scary of a puppet. It can use fire, water and has a hose type thing full of poison and a couple of scythe fans. Jiraiya and Ma and Pa can overpower the fire and water attack with a combo jutsu. Neutralize the poison and destroy the tail with fire jutsus. Sasori would not face Jiraiya in close combat.
Really this is a tough match up for Sasori because Jiraiya is a pro with fire jutsus putting all of his puppets at a disadvantage. Jiraiya has too much variety for Sasori. Sasori’s poison is lethal, but when it is three highly intelligent and powerful opponents against one deadly and genius puppet master, the three are going to take it this time . . . well at least I think so. Anyway, goodnight.

Welll the Posion Gas is really scary and almost a for sure win...but the Location is konoha its Pretty Windy...when he faught granny it was in a Gave he had Full Advantage. but genjutsu wouldnt work on sasori cause hes a puppet right? im giving this one to J-man but BARLY

1. Chiyo and sakura have no speed feats whatsoever, yet they were able to dodge all the needles. Jiraiya is much faster, which compensates for the lack of knowledge about hiruko's puppet, although he's definitely familiar with puppet users and will be expecting hidden weapons.
2. neede gizo to defend from strikes and poison.
3. brute strength to smash the hiruko puppet open, and to punch away the iron sand blocks
4. speed enough to surprise a path with linked vision and blind him, the other paths were only surviving because of their linked vision allowing them to react much quicker. he can dodge the iron sand bullets and the flames and water pistol too, although the third's jutsu could prove tricky to avoid, he will have to defend against it with needle gizo to avoid scratches.
5. sm detects chakra meaning if sasori kees changing puppets it's of little use
6. the 100 puppets are meaningless, if sakura could break several down, jiraiya will have no challenge. and he's smart enough to go for the puppet master first. superior speed+ oodama rasengan=win.

Jiraiya should easily win this ..after all he is a sannin and was able to match up against PAIN!!! whereas sasori was crushed by sakura!!! sasori will get pawned by jiraiya in his sage mode.U_U

Let's asses it properly to start with if j man saw poison cloud coming.. He'd hide straight in a summon stomach... When it comes to getting hit by normal attacks he needle shells up fir defence and in terms of attack.. Think it's safe to say he's faster and stronger than Sakura he has a whole host of crazy ass jutsu... Assisi very limited to using poison based weapons.. Apart from that he's not got much else I think jman to fast smart and power full for him to handle and not tonmention if he had ma n pa on his shoulders that brings genjutsu into it as well
Them there is his sealing jutsu which would most likely confine him to 1 puppet... Personally ivcant see how sasori could possibly get a win... J man not an idiot he knows just bout every style of jutsu out there so he blatantly knows bout the poison tactics
