maybe everyone is forgetting that gaara is part if the siblings ? if jiraiya is gonna win it wont be that easy as everyones making it seem

if he doesn't go sage mode, then it won't be a cake walk, but he'll probably still pull it off. sage mode would give the immediate edge though.

let the underestimation begin. gaara could solo but he has way too powerful backup. temari hurt third raikage in one shot, and destroyed a forest. kankuro has scorpion for defence (mechanical light shield) and crow/salamander for offence. once jirayias trapped in salamander like shin was, its over. crow has poison gas.
gaara with the sand in his gourd can also withstand just about anything. he will be able to make more sand underground and capture jiraiya from below if salamander hasnt already.

People are vastly overestimating Jiraya. saying he would win WITHOUT sage mode even? mmm not sure what to think of this obviously Jiraya>Gaara but Temari and Kankuro (unlike most team backups) arent fodder, dont forget that kankuro has sasori's body now which means big firepower/poison out the ass

Lol at all the people who are saying Jiriaiya stomps. He needs time to get into sage mode. While getting into sage mode he can't cast any jutsus. How is he going to get into sage mode while being attacked by Gaara's sand, Kankuro's puppet and Temari's futton. Together their team combo would destroy him.

Sasuke was able to tank their attack because of susanoo and last time I checked Jiraiya does not have susanoo. I believe Temari and Kankuro are both strong enough to hold their own against Jiraiya for a while but Gaara has a chance to solo.

Together though it is a stomp. Sand Siblings mid difficulty if Jiraiya starts in base. Sand Siblings high difficulty if he starts in sage mode.

I believe Gaara alone can beat base Jiraiya but not sage mode Jiriaya.
