The only way for jiraiya towin is genjutsu as oro is near immortal,jiraiya is easily beaten if he fights oro in base,sm jiraiya is nowhere near as strong as tsunade whom armless oro brushed off her chakra punches easily,oro is also strong as when he was armless,he was frustrated at the pain and knocked down a tree with a kick. Manda is easily above gambunta, and oro has several other large snake summons at his disposal,he also has hydre mode which can overpower sm jiraiya,am not saying that oro is well above j-man,he just is a bad matchup for him and frog song takes too long to do.

First of all Orochimaru can not use sage mode (hydra mode), because he did not have the appropriate body for it. (kabuto said it in manga if your wondering)
Second Jiraiya is a master when it comes to fighting large opponents, like he could use swamp under world, gaurd prison, goemon, crushing toad stomach, and ultra big rasengan!!! You saw the fight between him and pein, ok!!! and if jiraiya does defeat orochimaru, there is probably going to be another way for oro to come back to life, just like when sasuke defeated him, and then itachi defeated him, and then now he's back!!! I really like orochimaru, but he would never kill jiraiya!!!!

he used hydra tech when he escaped from sasuke,and do you think swamp of the underworld will hold ten thousand snakes?,even if it does,oro can just do another one,jiraiya can't kill oro with any of his techs,and does jiraiya even start in sage mode?,OP didnt say anything about it. Sage taijutsu is useless cuz they won't do as much damage as tsunade's punches,he has edo tensei as well,hashirtama and tobirama can take on sage mode jiraiya,hiruzen used shiki fujin to win,jiraiya cant seal an edo alone,rasengans,fireballs,hair techs etc cant beat oro, also oro has kusanagi which hurt enma,and he can control it from a distance. Hydra tech cancels sound genjutsu,jiraiya has no way to win.:shrug:

These two people have been questioned so much!!!! Let's just get to the point. Itachi, Pein, and Kisame said certain things that people are pissed about and won't take into consideration. The way Jiraiya can defeat orochimaru is
Barrier: Toad Gourd Prison,
Turning into a Frog Technique,
& Fukasaku's Reverse Summoning Technique!!!!!!(to reverse summon Naruto)

Orochimarus best technique to use is edo tensei. It is not. Hydra Mode is. If hiruzen stop them at age 69 , then I'm pretty sure Jiraiya can too.:sy: *sigh* He did not. Minato was in the Shinigami, that's why the third coffin failed. Hiruzen didn't do anything.
Orochimaru is also extremely derable, which he will have to be against Jiraiya.
When Itachi cut off Orochimaru's arm,when orochimaru tried to take his sharingan, orochimaru needed a new body to replace it. This might condradict the assumtion that orochimaru can not be killed by normal means.:shrug: Orochimaru got sliced in half by the 4 tailed Kyuubi and then looked at him like he was a dumbass. I don't know what you're trying to say with this point.

Jiraya isn't even getting past ONE of hashi's moves bringer of darkness.

Jiraya has a spherical detection barrier. At the user's command, the detection barrier can expand, grasping everything in the room. The user is able to detect anything that moves inside the barrier space with their own "sense". The user may also move, the barrier will follow them as they move. So that means the darkness only impairs his eyesight, but he still has his barrier.
