No, his amaterasu trap obviously wouldn't be able to kill him either way, if Obito could counter it. Obito meant that Itachi w/ full intel would shitstomp him 1v1.

Why would Obito suck Itachi into Kamui world fully knowing that his Body Parts are vulnerable?

Itachi's clone are normal fodder clones that can be dealt with just a Kunai. The clone argument works only if the Clones have speed and durability like Naruto's.

Samehada would turn to stone as well. It's a living being. You have to be trained in how to handle sage chakra to be able to use it/absorb it/etc. Otherwise, what happened to Preta will happen to you.

Yes you'll turn to stone if you absorbs too much natural energy, but I don't think his sword would turn to stone if it absorbs Senjutsu techniques, and specially if itsn't filled with Natural energy.
Madara had no problem absorbing SM Naruto's RS

RS isn't a technique that had senjutsu chakra infused in to it to my recollection, unlike Goemon(which is literally named Sage Art: Goemon). Being in SM does not mean all of your techniques use sage chakra.

Keep in mind that most of SM Jiraiya's abilities are combos or Fukasaku and Shima's attacks alone, who use nothing but purely senjutsu when fighting. Even their Zessenzan and Zessenbaku, which is them just using their tongues to attack, are classified as senjutsu techniques.

How much senjutsu chakra from a techniqe it'd take to turn something to stone, I dunno, but something the size of this would probably do it:

I thought that's what you implied. In my frist post, I only said Samehada would absorb Jiraiya's techs.

I think Kisame knows about Sage Mode. He probably knew about pain's defeat so and Naruto SM acquiring, just wondering. But if he wants Kisame to turn to stone, Jiraiya would have to focus a lot of Natural Energy

Kisame has no way of knowing what happened to Pain other than Naruto defeated him.

The issue with samehada compared to Preta, is Preta showed to have some restraint to sage chakra, as he did absorb that Gomen, and he took ALL of Naruto's sage chakra before finally turning. Preta is a good deal bigger than samehada, and the rinnegan's abilities are >>> samehada's, which is why I would think goemon could put some serious strain on samehada. Well, for that reason and because of the fact that it absolutely hates fire.

And Fukasaku/Shima have enough natural energy to spare. Jiraiya had no such SM time limit thanks to those two(well, I imagine he would have eventually got tired, but his wouldn't run out thanks to them).

SM users are just a god awful matchup for Kisame. Along the same lines as Gai is.
