Show's the heart of a true hero and the spirit of a true ninja. Nagato even said when he saw Jiraiya gettin up "i'm sure his heart has stopped, and he is still getting up..."

EDO Tobirama got five Rinnegan rods in his back and coulden't move an inch.... Like a little baby..
This is EDO Tobirama, remember, EDO means infinite chakra! This just show's how big a ***** Tobirama always was, if i werent for his brother Hashirama he would be no one. Just a back stabbing coward.

PS: Hashirama could move even with his rods in the back, beacause Hashirama is a true hero himself.

Sorry, lets set this straight. I'm a Jiraiya fanboy, but not an ignorant one. Those 20 elites were each as strong as each individual Pain, minus Tendo. We don't know how many he took down with him either. The real problem is Jiraiya getting into sage mode, not what he can do during it.

People always think getting into Sage mode is a problem for Jiraya but it really isn't. He was able to do it while running and evading the animal path Pain and all its OP summons. If he can do it against such an opponent in such a tight space, then he can do it against anyone. Summoning toads and using shadow clones makes for the perfect diversion while he summons the toad sages and gathers senjutsu.

This right here, perfect explanation. Jiraiya was jerking around with pain before going into sage mode. It was that easy.

uhm he wasn't going into sage mode while running around, he was taking time to summon Ma and Pa, it's Ma and Pa who draw sage mode energy for Jiraiya

That's what I mean't when I said summon summoning the toad sages and gathering senjutsu - as in the toads will do it (which doesn't take them long at all).

I enjoyed Jiraiya quite a lot. I doubt he could defeat Tobirama, but the way he carried himself as a Shinobi (combat-wise) was great, so I wouldn't count him out.

jst think if konoha bring kakashi, ino shika choo, gai, asuma, yamato, hiashi hyuuga nd some more fighter to beat tchikage or raikage etc.. u'll be saying he got defeated by some fodders.. we never saw 20 elite ninjas.. so we can't call those 20 ninja fodders or tobirama

The way Kishi has portrayed the so called "elite" in his manga have me believe they're all Anbu level. And we all know how fodder the anbu are against high level oppoenents.

I remember those 17 assassins that tried to ambush Danzo and he took them all out with without even breaking a sweat.

it ws an elite group unit belonged to kin, konoha's anbu consisted of itachi,kakashi,yamato cloud are'nt fodder frm the starting..
