It's not about power, it's about skill and experience in the art. All naruto could do differently was control the chakra better.

well even if jiraiya SM is inferior compared to naruto, but remember that jiraiya can stay in SM as long as he want with fukusaku and ma in his shoulder, while naruto SM is limited, not to mention jiraiya has more experiance, so this match goes to j-man
And in what form did Naruto defeat pain, SM??? No
Pain admitted that Jman could have had him if he knew everything about him from the beginning( LIKE NARUTO DID)
Jman also fought Konan.
If Jman had never got info on pain out there then Naruto would be nothing.

I agreed with DGK Joker I will go to Jiraiya.
And Naruto is better controlling the natural chakra but he is know well at bad controlling hes own chakra.And the reason naruto beat Pain was because he knew the secret of his power and abilities.Help that J didn't have. Hey..Naruto is the Main character and we all like him but his Master know his weakness and it will end it quick.

is obvious jiraya is better than naruto ....if it wasnt for the nine tails naruto would have been killed by pain when they had clash at konoha.........
