Please remember that you guys are getting horny and excited over the Manga statement "Me vs Jiraiya would end in a stalemate." Well, guess what? Neji was called an unbeatable genius. So... what is your point? Honestly... NO ONE has given me ANY suitable counter for the Blade Of Totsuka, Genjutsu, Tsukuyomi, Susano'o, Yata Mirror and Amaterasu, you keep bringing up Manga statements. Wow, someone counter this, please, I'm waiting :scorps:.

Maybe because itachi stated it himself and it wasn't another characters words? It would be different if another character said it, but on page 9 in vol 16 it says even if you might be able to take him on, i'm not so sure about me... he's in a different league." then itachi said "yeah... if we faced off, we might end up killing each other. at the very least, we'd hurt each other badly. ...and even if i had more backup, it probably wouldn't change the outcome." That's page 9 of vol 16. It cost 4.99 so its pretty cheap.

A simple Genjutsu will take out Jiraiya, he's nothing. Without SM he's useless, and Itachi has MANY ways to stop him from going into SM.

Jiraiya fought and won against fighting 3 at once, and died at fighting 6 at once. Itachi died and lost fighting against 1. Don't say that he'd win even in his sick mode. It would simply be a draw. They'd both die.

Itachi's stamina is also terrible, considering how Jiraiya survived that long against pain (not using it as evidence) he should be able to exhaust Itachi.

Gambunta could use his Oil + Jiraiya's fire to fight back against Amaretsu if needed (though amaretsu wins)

Yata Mirror is a defense, playing defensive with a really draining technique isn't wise as Jiraiya would win by default due to exhaustion.

blade of totsuke cannot simply be dodged as you say when its wielder is itachi.

how does sage mode protect against itachi's genjutsu

itachi simply amaterasu's his frog summons

itachi's stanima isnt horrible its actually pretty good if you absorb the sasuke vs itachi fight.

itachi simplys ama's jman, jirayia doesnt have the speed of raikage to dodge it

Hmmm....Summoning Ma and Pa takes time. Sage Mode needs time Itachi usually starts battles with genjutsus. Amaterasu is not a projectile it will appear on Jiraiya and even if it is a projectile Amaterasu is faster Jiraiya won't have time to react.

3rd. Wen has he started a fight with Ms techs?

5th. What happens wen at the start of the fight itachi gets drenched in toad oil n can't use any fire techs?
6th. How do u know itachi even gets a chance to drag out his sasano?
N last point. Itachi brings it out n gambunda jumps around being too fast n itachi llooses ability to hold it n then had to fight severely drained.
