I think if this was true he would have been at Mt. Myoboku when naruto was learning Sage mode. But then again he would have been revived after naruto defeats Pein, i don't know It'd be cool though.

he's a ninja, i would think he can get himself out of the water. HE couldve summoned a frog and went inside it idk. But, i would be soooooooooo nice to see him in action again

i think he can summon gama ken or any of the big toads to help by teleporting him to mount myoboku.

The pressure at the bottom of an ocean can crush a human being's body. Also, some fish could've come along and starting eating his decaying body. Rinne Tensei puts new energy into a body who has died, returning their soul. I have no idea how Madara expected to be revived with it (unless his body was preserved, or Zetsu/Tobi was created to be his soul's Rinne Tensei vessle).

we definitely miss jiraiya, that's a fact. i know why some people keep saying that jiraiya is alive is because he was not resurrected via edo tensei. Kabuto himself said that if the water was not that deep he could have resu'd a certain shinobi.

I used to think Jiraiya was not really dead. That he might have survived and would apear one day. Just a wishful thinking. But seriously major characters have to die for the development of story.

The chance of Jiraiya having been revived by Nagato is zero. Nagato couldn't have done that after that attack on Konoha. He didn't even revive Yahiko, his closest fiend.

The chance of Jiraiya being revived by Kabuto is also slim. Kabuto already said he didn't have the DNA. After all, we have seen enough edos as of now. Let Jiraiya rest in piece.
